Rolling Hills is written for intermediate string orchestras. This composition depicts a peaceful, somewhat mountainous, countryside. For all instruments, this works on lyrical lines that incorporate double up bows. It also give violins opportunity to shift, second violins up to III position and firsts up to III and V position. In the spirit of Elliott del Borgo, all instruments get the melody at some point.
